Vertical Honeycomb Shades are a great alternative to vertical blinds. These window treatments are perfect for sliding glass doors and other large windows that slide. This window covering is similar to the Hunter Douglas Vertiglide but is less expensive. Vertical shades have a standard valance included. The fabric is the same as 3/4" cellular shades, so they can be easily coordinated. Choose from many colors in these light-filtering window shades. The stack on these window treatments is minimal as not to block the view when drawn back. These function much like a standard vertical blind, but instead of vinyl or fabric slats, they are constructed of a cellular shade material. This product is child-safe, with no dangling cords, hanging chains, or wands to create a safety issue for small children and pets. Our single-cell honeycomb verticals are very energy efficient as well. The cellular design keeps out heat in the summer and cold in the winter, as well as protecting your carpet and furniture from the sun's harmful rays. These window coverings are also easy to maintain because they are vertical, so dust doe4s not collect on them as many horizontal blinds. Usually, a soft brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner is all that is needed to clean these window shades.
