Cellular Shades were first introduced as the Duette by Hunter Douglas in the mid-1980s. Sometimes these window shades are also referred to as cell shades, honeycomb shades, and accordion shades. Cellular shades work on the same principle as pleated shades. They are both a soft window treatment that is designed to block light and heat when lowered, and give an open view when raised. The difference is, Cellular shades offer more privacy, heat, and light control because of their honeycomb double-sided fabric construction. There are no visible strings or string holes to let light in, making them much more private and energy-efficient than pleated shades. These Single Cell Cellular Shades are light filtering, blocking out the direct sunlight while still offering privacy.
These window coverings provide a warm glow while still providing privacy, so they are perfect for living rooms, dens, dining rooms, or anywhere that you would like light control without being completely blacked out. Our cellular shades color-coordinated components, so they work great alone or with draperies, valances, or cornices. These shades stack neatly at the top of the window when raised to virtually disappear, leaving a view of the outdoors.

The warranty is extended to the original purchaser only, in the original windows for which it was intended in residential properties only. Our Obligation To You: For claims covered by the guarantee, we will replace or repair any product, with like or similar parts, which are found to be defective as a result of faulty workmanship or materials and excludes shipping costs, trip charges and labor costs for measuring and installtion. Guarantee Limits: This guarantee does not apply to any Cellular Shades or parts thereof which fail due to accident, alteration, improper use, abuse, neglect, normal wear, nor color fading dut to sunlight, direct exposure to salt air, failure to follow instructions, installing or operating the product. Any defect, malfunction or other failure of the product to conform to this limited guarantee will be remedied by us solely in the manner provided in this guarantee.
